About Zak Kara

Zaks philosophy of care is simple, "to deliver personable, pain-free and unhurried care, creating the right experience for you every time.” Zak has a wealth of experience in dentistry from various parts of the world. His particular interest in enhancing your natural smile while preserving the health of your teeth, and his patients often comment on his exceptional attention to detail. Zak grew up in South East London and graduated from The University of Sheffield. He began in an award-winning practice near the University, honed his skills on the Sunshine Coast of Australia, and has spent several years in a relationship-focused independent private practice on the South Coast of England. Patients often find him by word of mouth as he is well known for providing a positive dental experience with great rapport. His commitment to the staying at the forefront of the profession has taken him to further training at the world-renowned Pankey Institute in the USA. He is also completing a Postgraduate Diploma at the University of Bristol, building his expertise in rehabilitating the health of your teeth and gums. Zak dedicates two weeks every year to undertaking voluntary dental projects in less fortunate communities, including relieving pain by teaching emergency dental skills in Madagascar and Tanzania, and caring for the homeless in London. Meanwhile, he loves to cycle long distances in far-flung locations, and dreams of having his own radio show one day!
