The Dental Practice - Theresa Henley

About Theresa Henley
I qualified from Newcastle dental school in 1988 and worked in general practice in Hove firstly as a vocational trainee and then as an associate for 10 years. During this time I was involved with a small charity delivering dental care to children in orphanages in Romania. At the time I was sponsorship secretary for the local British Dental Association for 5 years. I then worked in Australia for three years as lead clinician for the community dental services which included providing dental care for local Aboriginal communities. On my return in 2003, I joined a practice in Worthing where I continue to work on a part- time basis. I have recently completed a four year Master's Degree in Clinical Dentistry which focused mainly on restorative and cosmetic dentistry as well as removable prosthetics (dentures).
I enjoy all aspects of dentistry but am particularly interested in cosmetic work and the treatment of tooth wear cases. I am currently involved with a complex dentistry scheme whereby such patients are treated under the mentoring of a local Restorative Consultant. I will be involved in presenting these cases at local dental study groups in the near future.
In my spare time I enjoy running, cycling, drawing and piano playing.
