Burgess Hill Dental - Tessa Harrison

About Tessa Harrison
Tessa graduated from Amsterdam University in 1987 but in 1989 an English man lured her to England and 25 years and 4 children later, she is still here!
Tessa enjoys finding solutions to dental problems which involve preserving as much precious sound tooth as possible (minimally invasive dentistry), including using bonded tooth-coloured filling materials and the newer less visible and faster tooth straightening techniques (orthodontics) in particular the 6 month smile system (www.6monthsmiles.com)
She has done 2 charity missions with a group of doctors treating (and educating) children in remote areas in Nepal. Tessa says
“This was an incredibly rewarding experience. The children were gorgeous and very smiley. I would love to go back again”
Outside of dentistry Tessa enjoys hockey, tennis, running marathons, triathlons, walking, skiing and cycling. Tessa has cycled 400k for Professor Winston’s charity through the Egyptian desert. Equally Tessa can sometimes be found relaxing with a good book! Her favourite book of this century is the “Shadow of the Wind” by Carlos Ruiz Zafon and she is happy reading anything by Jodi Picoult.
We are delighted to introduce Tessa who will be looking after Sally Campbell’s patients while she is on maternity leave. She will be joining us later in the Summer 2014.
