About Tanya Burton

Tanya grew up in the New Forest before moving to London to study at Guy’s Hospital. Upon qualifying in 1999, Tanya joined the Royal Navy serving as a Dental Officer in a variety of locations and ships around the world. She returned to the New Forest working locally, before continuing her Naval career in Australia. Tanya has completed postgraduate studies with both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the University of Sydney, maintaining a keen interest in restorative dentistry. Tanya is an enthusiastic sailor with several ocean crossings, who regularly enjoys dinghy sailing. She is a keen walker and can often be found enjoying local walks or more challenging mountainous regions around the UK.
