About Shanir (Sunny) Patel

I qualified from the University of Manchester in June 2010. I completed my training year in Streatham where I still continue to work part time. I slowly grew a passion for restorative and cosmetic dentistry which focuses on the restoration of teeth (functionally and cosmetically) with white fillings, tooth whitening, crowns and veneers. I attended several courses to further my skills in this area including a 1-year aesthetic and restorative dentistry course in London. Orthodontics is also an important component in cosmetic dentistry, allowing me to make big improvments in peoples smiles with minimal risk or damage to healthy teeth. I am qualified in using both Invisalign and Six-Month-Smiles to straighten misaligned teeth. When I decide to take a break from dentistry I usually travel and explore another country. I enjoy experiencing different climates, cultures, architecture and cuisines which has taken me to various locations across the globe. I am also a die-hard Arsenal fan, spending most of my Saturday afternoons watching them play on TV or going to the game itself with Dr Shah!
