About Robert Harding

(BDS, Dip DPM, Dip RDP) Principal Dental Surgeon GDC Number: 57785 Robert graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1983 (BDS Rand). His curriculum of education also included study at Georgetown University, Washington DC. Initially working in London, Robert developed a successful chain of three dental practices. He was also involved in setting up study groups for dental professionals and was a member of various Local Dental Committees. In 1998 he settled in West Sussex and acquired the Smilecare practice in Crawley. Robert has always been totally committed to providing patients with the very best in dental treatment. To this end he has undertaken numerous post-graduate courses, and has obtained Diplomas in Dental Practice Management and Restorative Dental Practice (both with distinction), and has a Certificate in Endodontics from the Eastman Dental Institute. Recently he has completed two years of the Diploma in Dental Implantology at the Royal College of Surgeons in London, and is completing his MSc thesis in Dental Materials. In addition to attending courses in the USA and Europe, Robert also holds qualifications in Facial Rejuvenation Therapies. Currently he is involved in teaching and runs courses in Dental Digital Photography, and in this capacity has been an external lecturer at University College London in the EDH Dental Post-graduate Programme. A keen sailor, he enjoys travel and visiting museums.
