About Richard Vernon

Richard studied at Sheffield University and has more than twenty years' experience within dentistry. For the last three years, he has been mentored in, and studying, implant dentistry and occlusion (bite) therapy. He has a passion for working with his patients to educate and involve them fully in their dental care to improve, retain or establish their dental health and well being. Richard moved to the Cayman Islands in 1997 and ran an amalgam free private practice for ten years. He was the President of the Medical and Dental Society, elected to the board of the Cayman Islands Medical and Dental Council and helped to raise £100,000 of post-hurricane medical supplies. Richard loves the outdoors whether that's playing sport or recreation. He is a qualified scuba diver, sails, plays lacrosse, plays 5-a-side football, mountain biking and loves to spend time with his family walking in the forests
