About Richard Brown
Born in Hull, Richard went to school locally and in Leeds before gaining entry to study dentistry at University College Hospital London. Richard qualified in 1974 and gained an LDS.RCS (Eng) in 1975. Whilst an undergraduate Richard was awarded the American Society of Dentistry for Children’s UK undergraduate award 1974.
After graduation, he worked in the hospital and community service as well as general practice before joining a group dental practice in Gloucester. Having establishing his career at Eastgate Dental Surgery, Richard relocated the practice to The Parade Dental Care Centre in 1998.
In 1986 Richard developed an interest in Orthodontics and became a hospital practitioner in Orthodontics at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. In 1989 he completed the South West Regional Training Scheme in Orthodontics.
Richard has been committed to representing the profession locally at the highest level and has become highly respected for his experience and insight in all matters Dentistry in Gloucestershire.
