About Paul Begley
Specialist Prosthodontist Paul qualified in Dentistry at Liverpool in 1980, and subsequently held a series of posts in both dental schools and general hospitals. He gained his Dental Fellowship qualification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 1984, studied full-time at Eastman Dental Hospital, London, from 1984 to 1986, and was awarded the degree ‘Master of Science in Conservative Dentistry’ in 1986. He lectured in Restorative Dentistry full time at the University of Leeds from 1987 to 1992, where he completed specialist training in Restorative Dentistry. He gained entry to General Dental Council Specialist Register in Restorative Dentistry, open to dentists eligible to hold hospital consultant posts, at its inception.
Paul has previously lectured for Astra Tech dental implant system that is one of the top implant systems used in the UK. Paul completed the Eastman Dental Hospital extended teaching course in Implant Dentistry in 1999, and has since treated many patients, both at City Dental Clinic and as part of a hospital based specialist multi-disciplinary team.
Paul is receiving referrals from local dentists over a wide area for specialist dental treatment here at City Dental Clinic.
