About Orlando Barroso

I graduated from Oporto University (Portugal) in 2007 and after working 3 years in my home country I decided I needed a new experience and started working in Cambridge. I joined Hurst Park Dental in 2017 and am delighted to be part of this great team. Since my graduation, I have kept studying and developing my abilities as a general dental practitioner and I have done training in Aesthetic Dentistry, Endodontics (root canal therapy), Laser Dentistry and I am currently enrolled in an MSc in Clinical Periodontology (gum disease treatment). I support a biomimetic approach to the dental treatment through minimally invasive procedures that intend to imitate the biological, functional and aesthetical nature of teeth. This ´add rather than remove` attitude allows me to be very conservative when restoring teeth. I am fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish and in my spare time I enjoy playing sports, travelling and cooking.
