About Nigel Bartlett

Dr Bartlett entered dentistry over 40 years ago qualifying as a dental technician at the London Technical College. He then went on to complete a degree in dental surgery at the Birmingham University and established The Queen’s Road Dental Centre in 1979. Dr Bartlett’s particular interest has always been Oral Surgery and Orthodontics and in addition as a dental technician has a vast experience in the fabrication of dentures, crowns and bridges. In the last 15 years Dr Bartlett has attended many courses in London and Gothenburg Sweden to further his interest in dental implants. Dr Bartlett achieved the status as a “Clinical Coach” for AstraTech dental implants, one of the world’s leading implant manufacturers. Dr Bartlett finds Dental Implantology a very exciting aspect of restorative dentistry in that it is rewarding for the patient as a complete solution for missing teeth. Dr Bartlett sold the practice in 2007 to Stefan who is continuing its development with younger energy and new expertise Dr Bartlett is well aware of the need for a disciplined and good standard or oral hygiene that remain fundamental to a healthy mouth and he cannot resist a word or discouragement to smoking. Dr Bartlett is married to Sue, his part time chair side assistant, and has two children, Oliver and Alison, and enjoys skiing, sailing and running.
