About Monica Kimmins
Monica Kimmins qualified as a dentist in 1982 from the University of Sheffield, following which she held a hospital position at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield. The next three years were spent working in the oral surgery department at St James Hospital in Leeds.
In 1989 she obtained by examination the Diploma in Orthodontics from The Royal College of Surgeons, England.
Monica went on to undertake a Masters Degree in Orthodontics at the University of Manchester which she completed in 1991. Following this she was admitted to the General Dental Council’s Specialist List in Orthodontics.
Since graduating with her MSc, Monica has worked in the hospital service, community dental service and in specialist dental practice, in a number of towns and cities in the UK.
She is a member of The British Orthodontic Society.
