About Martin Lunn
I qualified in 1989 from Guy’s Hospital . I was invited to stay as a House Officer in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry where I worked post qualifying. I did my vocational training in general practice in a practice in Eastbourne and the Sussex Postgraduate Medical Centre. I gained the Postgraduate Certificate in Endodontics in 2007 from the renowned Eastman Dental Institute , University College London. I have worked in general practice in Lewes for the last 15 years and have gained much experience. I also work for the Sussex Emergency Dental Service. As well as running my general practice I accept referrals for root canal treatment from other dentists within my practice and other local practitioners. I have lectured locally to my colleages in endodontics. I have facilities to offer intravenous sedation and Dr. Rex Yetton FRCA (a specialist dental anaesthetist and anaesthetist at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton) attends our practice for regular sessions to provide this service. I am a member of the British Endodontic Society and regularly attend the postgraduate meetings. I am the past president of the British Dental Association Brighton Section.
My wife Susanna is also a dentist and is helping me look after my patients one day a week. We have three sons and enjoy living in Lewes. My interests include Water Colour Painting, Bell Ringing, Mountain Biking and Sailing.
