“I wanted to create a dental practice that, if I were a patient, I would want to come to…” Mark joined the team in 1994 and became a partner in 2000. In 2009 he became the sole owner. “with the business rapidly expanding I decided to create Smilestyle Signature where we could strive for excellence in both clinical care and service” “Running two practices I found difficult to maintain the level of care I wanted to deliver and in 2014 I made the decision to concentrate on just Smilestyle Signature and allowed another company to take over the ownership of Smilestyle- our NHS practice. This I believe will have a profound effect on our ability to deliver a truly first class experience for both our patients and our team here at Signature” Marks special interests include the treatment of nervous and anxious patients using IV sedation. He has been a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anesthesia in Dentistry(SAAD) for over 25 years and has been able to help many hundreds of patients overcome their dental fear. Being a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentists (BACD) has been a progression of his passion for cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry. To further enhance the skills of the practice he studied and obtained a Master Degree in Periodontology and now treats patients of the practice with gum problems, “healthy gums are vital for all other dentistry to be successful- it seemed the obvious thing to study in great detail”
