About Mariela Fillamedinana

Dr. Mariela Villamediana graduated and qualified as a dentist from Santa Maria University, Caracas (Venezuela) in 2006. Afterwards she held various post in hospitals and private practices, where she gained experience in the area of Prosthetic and Aesthetic Dentistry. In 2009 she completed a Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry at the Santa Maria University which lead her to become a Clinical Teaching Fellow in the area of Total Dentures at the same institution. She completed in 2013 a three years Master’s Degree in Prosthodontics at the Central University of Venezuela, where worked with the most advanced techniques and treatments. During this training she was responsible for treating patients with complex cases, especially those needing dental implants, dentures, fixed crowns and bridges. She moved into the UK in 2014 and got her Dental Registration from the GDC after passing the statutory exams during 2015. With a keen eye for perfection, Mariela’s passion since the beginning of her professional career has always been the area of Prosthetic and Restorative Dentistry, as in her own words, “one of the best feelings is to see my patients smile again with confidence” Mariela loves baking and she is a big fan of the Great British Bake Off, and when she is not busy transforming smiles, can also be seen on the gym and going to the cinema.
