About Madhu Kalakonda
Madhu graduated from a dental school in southern India in 1998. He came to UK in 2004 and had to take qualifying exams before practising dentistry in the UK. Madhu has worked as an associate dentist in west of Cornwall for over three years before moving to Hastings where he worked for over six years. He moved to Worthing in 2014 having brought into the partnership with Peter Kaslik.
His interest in gaining further knowledge and keeping updated with the latest technology in dentistry over the last 10 years led him to obtain several post graduate qualifications from highly respected institutions in the UK. Madhu has been a trainer in the past training the newly qualified dentists. He has also worked as honorary clinical teacher in King’s Dental Hospital for a short period before deciding to focus all his attention in General Dental Practice.
Madhu has special interest in aesthetic and restorative dentistry which in simple words covers both function and cosmetic aspect of the teeth. He aims to provide and perform dentistry to highest standards and treat patients as his own family members. Currently he is working towards gaining a Diploma in Implantology from Royal College Edinburgh.
Madhu is married and his wife Meena is also a dentist. They have two girls who keep them quite busy. In his free time Madhu loves reading books, playing badminton and squash. He runs 2-3 times a week taking part in various running events with an ultimate aim of taking part in a marathon…one day !!!
