About Lisa Hinton

Hailing from Herefordshire, Lisa went to Cardiff to study Dentistry (BDS Hons) and Pre-Med. During dental school she worked hard to be selected to take part in Erasmus. This afforded her an opportunity to study abroad in her final year, exposing her to a wide range of techniques and equipment (along with cultural and language challenges that may have confirmed her love of travelling!) Lisa was awarded The Jayne Hodge Foundation Prize for Erasmus in 2011. Having completed her Vocational Training Year in Swansea and falling in love with the Gower, she has since been working as a General Dental Practitioner, and looks forward to developing patient rapports that can extend through the family generations. Lisa particularly enjoys Endodontics and Expedition Dentistry and regularly undertakes further training to maintain her skills. Outside of dentistry Lisa likes to make the most of what Gower has to offer and is often found keeping herself busy with outdoor pursuits, on and off the water.
