About Laurence Wood

Laurence Wood has taken over care of Robert Goodrum’s patients since January 2015. Laurence graduated from Cardiff University with a First Class Honours in 2010 and has since continued his professional development passing postgraduate exams and being awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Since qualifying Laurence has gained further skills and experience in oral surgery and special care dentistry at both Prince Charles Hospital and St David’s Hospital in Wales. Most recently Laurence has been working in general practice in Wales and, before that, Australia. Laurence is passionate about preventative dentistry and also loves to use his artistic skills to improve patients’ smiles. Aside from dentistry he enjoys painting, surfing, fishing and generally anything that involves being outdoors.
