About Julian Unter

Since qualifying from University College Hospital (London) in 1979 I have worked as a clinician mainly within the Rainham Dental Surgery – becoming practice owner since 1981. I have a wide interest in general dental practice and attend post graduate courses and read extensively to keep up to date with modern clinical techniques and good practice management. I was an inspecting dentist for Marks & Spencer for several years. I have been a member of the Kent Local Dental Committee (KLDC) representing NHS dentists views and needs within Kent and nationally for over 25 years. I have a day a week commitment as Hon Secretary of the KLDC for the last 19 years. This puts me in a unique position to help patients, colleagues and our own practice in challenging times. I have a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and more complex mouth reconstruction involving crowns, bridges and fixed and moveable prostheses.
