About Jill Mitchell

I qualified at Liverpool University in December 1979 and I have spent the intervening years in general dental practice in East Lancashire. Once our 2 boys were of an age to be independent I returned to dentistry full time spending 3 1/2 days in the surgery and the remainder of the week as a PEC member and Dental Clinical Lead for NHS Blackburn with Darwen PCT. I am completing a course at UCLAN in facilitating learning to be fully equipped to help supervise the dental students. The training practice is an exciting new development for Burnley and its residents, so I am really looking forward to joining the dental team at QDC . Away from work I enjoy good food and wine, horticulture, skiing and spending time with the family.
