About Jeremy Harris
Jeremy Harris is the principle dentist for Pure Dental Health and Wellbeing. He has more than 30 years of practical experience and is highly qualified. He qualified in Edinburgh in 1981 with distinctions in Periodontology and Orthodontics. He received the Dall medal for crown and bridgework. After working in Cornwall and Devon, Jeremy opened his practice in Truro in 1991. In 2001 he decided to focus on the specialised fields of Implantology and Reconstructive/Cosmetic Dentistry, receiving a postgraduate Diploma in Dental Studies from Bristol in 2001.
Following 3 years of intensive study, Jeremy was awarded a Master of Science degree in Implant Dentistry. He is a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD), the Association of Dental Implantology and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Jeremy was also a teaching fellow on the Masters programme at Warwick University Medical School in 2006-2007 and subsequently became involved with the Royal College of Surgeons Implant Diploma course. This course is widely considered to be the most comprehensive Implant training programme in the UK and sets the gold standard for practical Implant education. He is also Group Case Discussion Facilitator at the Peninsual Dental School.
Jeremy has lived and was educated in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Canada. He is an avid reader, a follower of Formula 1 Grand Prix racing for 25 years, and enjoys angling, gardening, mountaineering, and rock climbing.
