About Ioannis Ioannidis

Ioannis graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2003. He was trained in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Manchester University Dental Hospital and awarded his Master of Science in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery by the University of Manchester after clinical research in pain control in children. He subsequently underwent specialist training in Orthodontics at the Manchester University Dental Hospital for three years under the mentoring of worldwide known orthodontists. He was awarded a Masters Degree in Orthodontics by the University of Manchester and awarded a Membership in Orthodontics by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Ioannis is registered on the Specialist List of Orthodontics of the General Dental Council in the UK and in Greece, allowing him to have the title of Specialist in Orthodontics, in recognition of the highest level of orthodontic training in the UK. He is a member of the British Orthodontic Society, the European Orthodontic Society and the Greek Association of Orthodontic Study and Research. He has worked in a number of specialist orthodontic practices gaining a wide experience in treating a large variety of patients from growing children to highly demanding cases of adults seeking improvement in the appearance of their smile. Navid was in charge of Salaried service endodontic referrals during his time in the Scottish Borders. He is a certified Dentsply Maillefer educator, allowing him to run courses on Dentsply Maillefer equipment and products. Navid’s practice is limited to endodontics. He was a council member of the British Endodontic Society (2010-2013) and is currently Honorary Communications Officer of the British Endodontic Society. Navid is also a Spt in endodontology at Guy’s, King’s College and St Thomas’ Hospitals as well as practising endodontics at several practices including Ravenscourt Dental Practice.
