About Indra Rampersad

DDS, M/Tandarts Netherlands - Principal Dentist, Clinical Director & Practice Owner - GDC no. 151431 Indra studied Dentistry in The Netherlands at the Radboud University Nijmegen. Her main subjects were Cosmetic Dentistry and Advanced Special Dentistry. She received her Masters degree with distinction M/Tandarts examen Cumlaude in 2004. In 2008, Indra decided it was time for a new challenge and began her journey to create Berwick Smile Dental Care which opened with great success in 2010. In 2018 she opened the Digital Suite at Berwick Smile which allowed us to offer our patients a more digital approach to dentistry, giving them more comfort and ease in their journey with us. Just 2 years later, Indra’s dream of her own practice was growing quickly and she established her 4th surgery, meaning our patient database was able to increase and we were able to offer more to the people of Berwick and North Northumberland. Indra has worked tirelessly throughout the years to ensure her skills are constantly improving and enabling Berwick Smile to offer as wide a range of treatments as possible. These now include dental implants, advanced surgical procedures, short term orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. Her courses have led her all over the world to learn from the best, including Harvard University, Switzerland, Spain, Germany and London. Indra carries out a full spectrum of treatments and is not phased by the complexity of treatments that might be needed and through careful diagnosis, is able to create bespoke treatment plans for long-term stability. The caring and compassionate manner is what sets Indra apart and why so many of our loyal patients refer their friends and family. Indra now has three beautiful boys with her husband Hendrik, who keep them both busy and she feels very fortunate to live in this part of the world, where she can enjoy the beautiful Northumbrian scenery every day. Her dream was to create a unique practice which is modern and comfortable, where state-of-the-art techniques are combined with excellent patient care; a definite success.
