About Imran Nasser

Imran qualified from Bristol University in 2006 and has since taken great strides in ensuring he can provide all of his patients with a very high standard of care whilst striving for perfection on every occasion. Nothing gives him more pleasure than to see his patients smiling with increased confidence following their treatment. He is completely dedicated to continually improving his skills for the benefit of his patients and his own personal pride and satisfaction. This extensive training pathway enables Imran to provide his patients with all the various treatment options in a gentle, empathetic and relaxed manner. This dedicated journey began in 2007 with a post in Restorative Dentistry at United Bristol Healthcare Trust, followed by a year in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Royal United Hospital Bath. Here, Imran gained invaluable experience in the management of anxious patients and those individuals with complex treatment needs. In 2009, Imran was awarded Membership to the Royal College of Surgeons. Since 2010, Imran has found his true passion in providing implant dentistry at St.James Dental. After four years of rigorous training, Imran was awarded the prestigious Masters Degree in Dental Implantology with Distinction from the University of Bristol. He continually provides exquisite results in using dental implants to replace a single missing tooth, multiple missing teeth and securing ill-fitting dentures. His desire to meet patient expectations remain at the forefront of his treatment approach whilst bringing the most successful and up-to date developments in dentistry to his patient care. At St.James Dental, Imran works extremely closely with the rest of our team and specifically our other dentists. Implant treatment is often coordinated and integrated into a patient’s routine care with their normal dentist. However, on occasions there are complex cases that require the thought, care and skill of multiple disciplines and in these instances requiring full mouth rehabilitation, Imran works in teamwork with Dr Oliver Stew to achieve these thrilling results. Imran lives in Bristol with his wife and two young sons; Luca & Theo. He has always remained fanatical about sport, health and fitness. Whilst his young sons have meant team sports have taken a back seat, Imran commences every day with an early morning fitness session to get the day off to a energetic start.
