About Ian Redfearn

Ian RedfearnI qualified at Newcastle in 1990 and moved to this practice as an associate in 1991, becoming a partner in 2003. I am committed to continued professional development and am gained a DPDS (Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies) in 2005. I am trained in I.V. sedation and relative analgesia, and have developed an interest in orthodontics, including the “Clearstep” invisible brace system (see www.clearstep.co.uk). I have also developed my skills in cosmetic treatments including tooth whitening and veneers, for which I have attended numerous postgraduate courses. I have been involved with ‘Mercy Ships’ dental outreaches (www.mercyships.org.uk) in West Africa and Lithuania and have worked with Bridge2Aid (www.bridge2aid.org) in Tanzania.
