About Ian Hunt

Ian Hunt was born and educated in South Manchester. He went to Manchester University to study dentistry in 1986 obtaining his BDS in 1991 and started working part time at The Maple Road Practice soon afterwards as an associate for Mr Thomas and also at a practice in Burnage Manchester. Ian bought the practice in 1999 and is now there full time. Ian has a keen interest in the treatment of anxious and nervous patients using various sedation techniques. Ian is active in postgraduate education obtaining his membership of general dental practice in 2003 and 2006 being one of the first to obtain a diploma in restorative dentistry awarded by the Faculty of General Dental Practice. Ian is a tutor on the MJDF course at the university and is a member of the north west division of FGDP. Ian is married to Andrea who is the Podiatrist/Chiropodist at the practice and they live in the Altrincham area. Ian Hunt is a keen dinghy sailor, member of a local gym and a Manchester City Fan.
