About Hugh Tyrrell

Hugh Tyrrell qualified in London, before moving to Shropshire, to work in Shrewsbury and Bridgnorth. He then spent 8 years serving as an Army Dental Officer in places as diverse as Belize, Saudi Arabia and Germany. He moved to Dawley Dental Practice in 1993, and has guided it’s expansion and modernisation over the years. He specialises in oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry and replacement of missing teeth using implants. For over 15 years he has been a trainer on the NHS vocational training scheme mentoring newly qualified dentists in their first year.
