About Gareth Lavery

Gareth graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2003 with a distinction in the ‘Practice of Dentistry’. He began his practising career in Hawick and then spent time in Australia working in both public and private dental clinics. After his return to Hawick in 2006, Gareth began further training at the Edinburgh Postgraduate Dental Institute and was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Care Restorative Dentistry in 2013. During this time he was also accepted for Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons England. In 2012 he invested in a dental operating microscope in order to further enhance the quality of care he provides. This is invaluable in endodontic procedures, but allows a greater degree of precision in nearly all areas of general practice.
