Being absolutely pretrified by the prospect of visiting a dentist, knowing that I had numerous dental issues in the mine-field of my mouth, I had put it off for a long time. Having summoned the courage to make the appointment, I entered the dentist's practise. I was as nervous as a whore at confession when I sat in the chair, but I needn't have worried; Ewelina was absolutely fantastic: Calm, soothing, patient. My first appointment was just a consultation, she had a poke around, gave me the verdict, which wasn't half as bad as I had expected and I left feeling ten feet tall.
When it came to the actual treatments; fitting a new crown and a filling; it was an absolute breeze, she made it so comfortable and easy.
I can honestly say that this was make or break for me and my teeth. If I'd have had a bad experience, I wouldn't have gone back and I would probably have let my teeth fester and ended up like Shane MacGowan, as it was I'm fine now with dentists and even considering getting some cosmetic work done.
