About Cheryl Wood

GDC No. 81208 Languages spoken: English Days of work: Monday – Thursday Miss Cheryl Wood is an associate dentist; she qualified from Guy’s Kings and St Thomas’ dental institute in 2002. I graduated as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2002 and was given the opportunity to remain at Guy’s as a house officer for a further year. I joined Mr Au as a vocational trainee dentist in 2003 and have remained at the practice as an associate dentist. "I qualified for membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2007. I gained the Royal College of Surgeons postgraduate qualification ‘Diploma in Restorative Dentistry’ in October 2013. I was selected as a Dental Foundation Trainer in September 2013. This enables me to pass on my clinical knowledge and skills to a newly qualified dentist. In the summer of 2015 I became a member of the NHS LDC (Local Dental Council). I have a keen interest in health and fitness and in my leisure time I play a wide variety of sports ranging from aerobics, golf and tennis."
