About Burhan Nasim

Dr Burhan Nasim completed his dental degree and graduated from Glasgow University in 2004. Prior to entering general dental practice, Burhan spent two years in postgraduate hospital training where he advanced his skills and gained further qualifications. He attained his MFDS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and has worked in the Maxillofacial Unit at the Southern General Hospital and the departments of Oral Surgery, Public Health and Restorative Dentistry at Glasgow Dental Hospital, where he was a Senior House Officer. Burhan soon developed a keen interest in restoring patients’ smiles, especially the replacement of missing teeth using implants. He has completed advanced implant training at one of the most recognisable and sought after institutions in the United Kingdom. In addition to this, spending hundreds of hours of postgraduate training with the very best implant dentists in the world has ensured that his patients receive the highest standards of care. Burhan is married with two active young sons who keep him occupied when he is not working. Burhan enjoys going to the gym and is a keen footballer for which he has many awards. He is also a keen traveller and most recently has been to Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. He has also undertaken a tour of USA where he has visited both the east and west coasts, and of Europe where he visited Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy and Spain.
