About Baz Parmar

Baz studied dentistry at King's College Hospital. He graduated in 1981 and remained at King's for a further year as a surgical house officer. He then spent several years working in general dental practice in Holland and the UK. Baz then worked for three years in the Armed forces hospital in Saudi Arabia. He returned to King's College Hospital In 1990 and undertook three years of postgraduate orthodontic training. He qualified in 1993 and was awarded a Master of Science Degree and the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England allowing him to be registered as a specialist orthodontist with the General Dental Council.  Baz is a director of Total Orthodontics. He is also a member of the British and European Orthodontic Societies, the American Association of Orthodontists, the World Federation of Orthodontists and the British Dental Association. He is the chairman of the Local Orthodontic Committee in Brighton and is currently the editor of the newsletter of the British Orthodontic Society. He is also a member of the British Lingual Orthodontic Society and former Chairman of the Brighton Orthodontic Study Group.  Baz treats patients in Brighton. Baz's wife, Jennifer, is also an orthodontist and they have two lovely daughters, Madeleine and Iyana, who are spoilt rotten.
