Owlsmoor Dental Practice - Barinder Dhinsa
About Barinder Dhinsa
Barinder became a dentist because she was genuinely interested in caring for people. She believes that everyone should be able to smile with confidence and, during her years in practice, she has developed the skills to help her patients do just that.
Barinder has experience of treating nervous patients using intravenous and inhalation sedation, having completed a SAAD course in 2007, which allowed her to spend time working alongside anaesthetists in a specialist referral practice. She also completed a year- long course in cosmetic dentistry (Advanced Dental Seminars) with Dr Chris Orr in 2008, during which time she learnt smile makeover techniques, tooth whitening and treatment planning.
In 2011, she completed her MJDF RCS and is presently attending the UMD Level 3 course in Leadership and Management. Her areas of interest include treating children, teeth whitening and the short-term orthodontic option, Six Month Smiles.
When not extremely busy in the practice, she is kept just as occupied by her two young children. When she does have some spare time, she loves sampling new restaurants and is also developing an interest in photography.
