About Andrew Parker
Andy trained first as a general dentist at the Royal Dental Hospital in London but soon began the specialist training to qualify as an orthodontist at the Eastman Dental Hospital. He became a Fellow in Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 1977.
He has lectured in Orthodontics at leading UK universities and has been a guest speaker at several international meetings in Europe and the USA. He is now an orthodontics examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and has examined students in India, Egypt, Europe and the UK.
He continues to be active in the profession and leads study groups in the Cambridge area as well as having been a Council member of the European Begg Society of Orthodontists, the British Association of Orthodontists and currently the British Orthodontic Society.
