About Amir Savage

Amir graduated from Edinburgh University in 1992 and after vocational training started his career as a general dental practitioner in the Royal Air Force. His specialist training was undertaken at the Eastman Dental Institute in 2004 where he achieved the MClinDent in Periodontology and the European Federation of Periodontology Certificate in addition to the MRD from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2007. After the completion of specialist training, he was appointed as the Clinical Director of the Military School of Dental Training and served as an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) and as a project supervisor for the University of Kent MSc in Primary Dental Care and an external assessor for the masters in clinical periodontology at the Eastman Dental Hospital. Amir is committed to providing a quality based referral service where referring practitioners and hygienists are fully informed of their patients’ periodontal condition and treatment plan during all phases of treatment.
