About Alix Davies

Alix graduated from Guys, Kings and St. Thomas Dental Institute in 2005. She was awarded a Distinction with many prizes, and was nominated for the prestigious University of London Gold Medal. After appointments in General Practice and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, she served in the Royal Army Dental Corps, both in England and Germany. Alix attained the rank of Major before leaving to commence the four year Specialist Training Program in Endodontics at Kings College London. She will complete this course in September 2015. Her research interests have focused on the effect of various imaging techniques on endodontic diagnosis and management. She has also recently completed the most standardized and accurate outcome study into endodontic retreatment to date. She has presented her work at National and International Conferences. She also teaches on the MSc Distance learning program at Kings College London. Alix has two young children who currently occupy all her free time although previously she was a very keen chef and enjoyed travel photography.
