About Alexis Rayner

Alexis comes from Wakefield in West Yorkshire and studied dentistry at Dundee University, qualifying in 1988. She has always worked in general practice, with her first position being in Stevenson, Ayrshire for 3 years. She moved back to Yorkshire to a practice in Pudsey for 7 years gaining more experience in all aspects of dentistry including continuing care. After a brief period of working in Shipley she came to her present position at Acorn Villas Dental Practice in 2001. Alexis’s passions outside of dentistry are sports and fitness, reading and giving older rescue dogs a forever home.
